This product is okay but not as good as the product Pycnogenol,
which is made from the maritime pine tree.

My teen daughter and I tried these after reading about a study on the positive results of pine bark on jet lag symptoms. We started a few days before our flight from the West coast of the US to Central Europe and continued a few days after. After close to 24 hours of travel (a trip we've taken numerous times), we had less ankle and foot swelling, there was less pain from fatigue, my normal travel headache was barely noticeable and we felt far better than any other time we had made this trip. We will both use these again when traveling over multiple time zones.

I read an article that Pine Bark helps relieve some of the pains associated with endometriosis. I had surgery for endometriosis in October 2006, and started having severe pains again in August 2007. I wanted to take a more natural route, as two surgeries in one year for the same problem seemed extreme for me. I talked to an herbalist and she put me through natural hormone therapy and after that, gave me the "endo" tea/tincture. Along with this, I took the Pine Bark Extract, and everything has been great thus far. I definitely recommend it for anyone who has endometriosis, because you know how painful it is and this really helped along with the other herbal supplements.
