At the beginning if you are already suffering from an urinary tract infection you must take 3 capsules a day 5 times daily for a total of 15 capsules a day. Getting that many down was a task in itself. I would suggest you buy only as a maintenance system 3 capsules a day will keep your track healthy and clear.

I've been suffering with frequent UTIs (at least 3-4/year) for the majority of my 20s. I've been under the care of a urologist, who had me start taking Bactrim after sexual activity. This worked at first, but then about 6 months ago, I got a really bad UTI despite taking the antiobiotics, and it turned out that the bacteria was resistant to the Bactrim. My urologist then prescribed a different antibiotic, but I feared that I would continue to develop resistance with each new antibiotic I tried, and that it would get to the point where I would eventually need IV antibiotics every time I had an UTI! This fear prompted me to start searching for an alternative method of prevention, which is when I found ClearTract. I've been taking one scoop of ClearTract every day for the past 6 months, and I haven't had a UTI since!! The minor inconvenience of having to mix the powder in water each morning is worth the peace of mind I get from taking it. I even brought it to my urologist to show him, thinking he would laugh at me for buying into some voodoo alternative medicine, but he actually said it seemed to make sense that it should work, and that it was worth a try. I'm so glad I found this product!

I am a chronic UTI sufferer. I take D-mannose either in capsule or powder form daily to keep them away and so far so good! I love this powder in particular because it has virtually no taste when you add it to your drink. I only taste it a little bit if I put it in water, but in sodas, juice, and even milk I cannot even tell it is there. It comes with a scoop inside so you get just the right amount. I will be buying this for years to come!
