TOO PRICEY FOR A DISCOUNTED PACK. THE PACK RECEIVED WAS NOT OF 22 YEAR OLD RED PANAX. TOOO EASILY SUBSTITUTED FOR A CHEAPER, NEWER GINSENG ROOT. I DO NOT KNOW WHOSE FAULT IT IS, BUT NOT AS ADVERTISED!!

They say that when a ginseng root is 20 years or older the extract has adaptogenic qualities and is also a good Jing tonic. I took it in the morning and even before going to bed and it always the effect was very positive, relaxed and pleasant. I never felt jittery or nervous with this product. I also like the fact that is not alcohol based but honey-distilled water based. I will probably use this product again.

First, I ordered this and had it amazingly fast. Fast e-mail response to my order and super-fast delivery! I've used ginseng for years and always look for the oldest root - this is the 1st time I've found 22 year old ginseng root (oldest previously was 20 years old) - the older the root the better the experience. I've had boxes delivered where there were bottles broken in mysterious places within the boxes. Every single box was perfect (I ordered 4 boxes) - not even one broken bottle. As far as taste, if you're used to the taste of ginseng you won't have any surprises. I use it for a gentle and consistent form of extra energy - doesn't give me the gitters. I'm also like the other reviewer, Mr. Smith, and use it successfully for chronic pain management (it doesn't get it all but it certainly gently takes the edge off) and for giving me extra energy to counteract the fatigue that the pain gives me. I take 3 at a time early in the day to get the best results.

I bought this in a Korean restaurant in Chicago, but immediately became suspicious when I tasted it. It doesn't have the taste of real ginseng. If I had seen the claim on the package that it is made from 12 year old roots before buying I would have known not to trust it. You just don't get that quality of ginseng for this price. See Razor Ramon's review where he quotes "the Consumer Lab web site... states the product 'Only had 2% of expected minimum amount of ginsenosides and less than 10% of claimed amount.'" The makers of this product are mocking us when the use the motto that I titled this review with "Life is short, buy the best".

After months of taking this product, without any noticable benefits, I decided to check it out on the Consumer Lab web site. The site states the product "Only had 2% of expected minimum amount of ginsenosides and less than 10% of claimed amount." I will not be purchasing this product again.
