I bought one three years ago, and use it every evening, and usually twice a day. I'm buying another one as a backup. It does a great job in relieving my buttock pain. I put mine in the microwave for 1 min, 50 seconds. It's rather hot initially and it stays warm for at least an hour. If too hot, just reduce the microwave time.

As a person with chronic back problems, the Therabead Microwavable Moist Heat Pack, works. It has been more than what I anticipated in its ability to ease backache. Works great after a physical workout, running or golf. Not since using a Hydroculator Pack years ago, have I found something that delivers deep moist heat consistantly. Easy to use, take it from one who knows, this is a Terrific Product!!!

I have been using this heat pack for my back pain for years. I use in the am when I am stiff and it helps to give me some flexiblity. I just had to reorder one due to the fact after a year or two I wore it out. Just drop in the microwave for 1 1/2 minutes and place in area needed. The one I just got came with a nice little cover also which may help to make it last longer.

Bought this to use on a bad shoulder and back. Works great!! Warm, moist relief. Be careful not to microwave for too long. It can feel very hot against your skin.

The moist heat seems to relieve my muscle pain better than an ordinary heating pad. The pad also produces a pleasant and relaxing fragrance when heated. The heat lasts for about 20 minutes (I do wish it would last a little longer). Very easy to heat in the microwave. The cover allows the moist heat to come through and keeps the pad very clean. I love it.
