This bathroom scale is much better than the Thinner scale which I bought four or five years ago, gives weight in 0.1 lb increments instead of 0.5 increments, has a replaceable battery, and is cheaper. If I had my druthers I wouldn't have to tap before weighing myself and the scale would be a little bigger so I could get on it and not worry about whether I was situated properly.

All my scales have said to use on hard surfaces only but I could use them on capets anyway with a small difference in the weight. This can not be used on carpet, the weight different is off by 20%. Nice design, I just could not us it.

I've had this scale since July 2008. It's been working good, no complaints. It doesn't match the scale at the
doctors office at all, but I assume it's because I weigh myself in the morning at home (before breakfast and with no clothes on), and after food and with clothing in the middle of the day at the doctor's office. At least, I hope that's the reason.
I discovered a problem the other day, however. And I hope that somebody here can help me out with this. I tried using it a couple of days ago, and the display showed nothing. If the battery is dead (where do I even get a new one???) - there was no warning whatsoever of a low battery. Has anybody had any experience with that?
I emailed the manufacturer. Waiting on response.

I returned this item. The scale was inaccurate; I weighed myself five times and got five different amounts within fifteen minutes. I do not recommend. However, I did receive a full refund.
