Again, NOW products offers an excellent, inexpensive quality product. Read the label and you'll only find the best ingredients - no added sugars, etc. If you're a whey protein fan, go for NOW's whey protein. I'm lactose intolerant so I I have to find products without milk derivatives - often a difficult task! I've said it before and will continue to say it, NOW products are not the fanciest products out there, but they're quality products and they're VERY nicely priced! Be sure to use a blender as opposed to hand mixing or shaking and PLEASE, be sure to increase your water intake when supplementing with protein!

Mixes fairly effortlessly. I think the taste is interesting and usually eat it plain as a sort of porridge-in-a-cup type of way. With enough water the clumps will stir out in short time but is not like instantized whey in that it will naturally be sort of mushy at first.

On the label it has listed only one ingredient - soy protein isolate - which is 90% protein. If you're used to drinking sweetened, flavored protein drinks this is going to take some getting used to. I had to try mixing this several different ways to make it acceptable for my taste buds. Also, it has a very fine texture, almost like flour, and will clump without putting it through a blender. So, unless you're willing to drink and chew at the same time you'll need to take the time to mix it in a blender. The good thing about this is that it doesn't have any hidden MSG, e.g. hydrolized protein and no artificial sweeteners such as sucralose which is the main reason I gave this a try.

I tend to like soy protein powder the most of various protein powders, and enjoy plain soy powder in milk or juice. This product is inexpensive and mixes well.
