I bought Planet because I was having residue issues with our cloth diapers. It is working great and we are no longer having a problem. It is now our detergent for all the clothes in our home. We also just had to buy a new machine and got a front loader and this is working great for that, too.

I use this detergent with my bumgenius diapers and I love it. It gets them really clean and I rarely have smell or stain issues. Just for reference, I use cloth diapers even for overnight for my 3 month old and my 2 1/2 year old toddler. Also my daughter has extremely sensitive skin and this detergent does not break her out. Even Country Save broke out her skin, but Planet does not. I am trying the liquid as I hear it's better for hard water, but so far it looks like the powder works better at getting my diapers clean.

My laundry criteria
- environmentally friendly
- cleans clothes
- no plastic packaging
- can be bought in bulk
- preferably eligible for Amazon's subscribe and save
This detergent met them all. We've gone through several boxes so far and have been happy with the results. The finer-than-typical powder dissolves quickly seems to be doing a good job on the clothes.

This detergent is great for cloth diapers, as it does not contain any additives, brighteners or fragrance. It's gentle on baby's skin, but still gets the diapers really clean & doesn't leave any buildup so they stay absorbent and leak-free. Also, you can't beat the "subscribe & save" price!
