Unisom SleepGels contain diphenhydramine HCl; an effective sleep aid approved by the FDA Unisom should be taken 30 minutes before going to bed. The manufacturer does not recommend taking the product too late in the night because it may cause you to be drowsy the next day. Unisom can be used for up to 2 weeks. Stop use and ask a doctor if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 2 weeks. Insomnia may be a symptom of serious underlying medical illness. Do not take Unisom without consulting your physician or pharmacist. |
