I like this product and hope that the manufacturers do not change their formulation. It seems to work well, both in reducing my joint pain and lifting my mood. I haven't noticed any obvious side-effects, though I sometimes wonder if it is affecting my circulation.

I'm sure this helps a lot of people and I did notice my husband had more energy, but increased his already daily headaches, so sadly had to discontinue.

I love this SAM-e by Nature Made.
and the 90 pills box is the best deal there is!
helps me with my Fibromyalgia, not too much, but every bit helps.
better sleep and less pain.

SAM-e quality is dependent upon the concentration of the SAM-e (S,S) diastereomer. In order to test the quality of NatureMade product, we sampled Lot # QB11325 on a major university's Brucker 400 MHz NMR taking the average of 3 samples. We found that NatureMade's product contained only 61.79% of (S,S) SAM diastereomer and 38.21% of a potentially harmful (R,S) SAM-e diastereomer.
(This (R,S) diasteromer actually inhibits the exact reactions for which one would want to take the SAM-e.) Repeated contacts with the company asking them to explain the poor quality of their product gave absolutely no results. So, a high price for a very, very poor quality product indeed.
New FDA laws require that the manufacturer state the purity of the product so the consumer can make an intelligent choice. NatureMade has never stated the purity (as defined by FDA law) of its product on the box or on its website.
I think this product needs to be renamed SAM-e 61% complete, 39% incomplete. The company will not give the consumer a good quality product because it hopes the consumer won't notice that 39% of each SAM-e Complete pill is comprised of an impurity.
If someone were selling wine containing 39% water, I would suspect that consumers would be up in arms. This SAM-e complete is 39% impurity. Buyer beware

Sam-E works good on arthritis and depression. The shipping of the product leaves a lot to be desired. When I received my Sam-E's the packaged was crushed,it was shipped in a yellow bubble mailer. Well 19 pills where broken in the foil wrapper. Will not purchase from here again.
