Someone suggested that my wife and I try Healthy Trinity by Natren. I placed an order from Amazon on October 19, 2009. Two weeks later when I tried to order another bottle (to stay ahead and not run out), I was first shocked then angered to discover that this greedy company--Natren--raised the price of Healthy Trinity (through Amazon) by a whopping 27%. In October the Amazon price was $49.74; in early November the same item costs $69.99. Such an unjustifiable and huge price hike points to one thing in this era of low inflation: GREED and MONSTER PROFITS made on your back, at your expense. In short, Natren is price gouging--ripping you off--making a fool of you. Don't buy their Natren Healthy Trinity. Instead, go to a natural food store or to Amazon and buy a bottle of acidophilus or "good bacteria." You can get high quality beneficial strains of healthful probiotics for a MUCH LOWER COST if you avoid Natren brand. This is not the fault of Amazon. Natren is the greedy culprit. Do not waste your money on this over-priced item from Natren.

I had trouble posting accurate seller feedback, so I thought I would add my comments here so others can avoid the same experience.
DAB completely ignored the expedited shipping I requested for this order. I am a cancer patient, and the supplement was intended to combat chemo side effects. Not only did the product not arrive within the expected 3 to 4 business days, DAB didn't even ship it out until a full week after it received my order. Charging "expedited" shipping rates for this slow service is disgraceful.

I have been having problems with IBS for over ten years, and I have seen a great deal of change since I started using this product. Healthy Trinity helps me be regular. I am glad I found this product.

I haven't noticed much of a difference in intestinal symptoms when taking this product. It was highly recommended to me by a friend who has Crohn's disease. It helped her, but it hasn't helped me. For the cost, I didn't find it worth it. (However, no negative side effects either so I'm giving it 3 stars.)

I have been taking Healthy Trinity for about two years and find it a wonderful product, likely the best on the market. However, I can't afford to pay full price for it, always looking for the best deal. It's fairly easy to find at prices far lower than buying through the manufacturer, Natren. I found a very good price through an Amazon Marketplace seller (I won't post their name here as they did give excellent service and with a different approach, I would buy through them again.)
However, this seller's shipping method for Healthy Trinity left much to be desired. There is some debate over whether or not HT must be kept at cold temps at all times, there are claims that it's ok kept at room temp for up to one week. However, most certainly it's not supposed to get warm!
The HT was shipped expedited. However, it was shipped from a warm western state, in a cardboard box with bubble wrap instead of a styrofoam box with cold packs, and they shipped on a Friday, which delayed delivery until Monday, defeating the purpose of the expedited shipping. The box was warm, the packing was warm, even the bottles were warm, but when I shook the capsules into my hand, they were somewhat cool to the touch. I decided to take a chance that all was well. But next time I order, I'm going to do it much differently. And I'm certain not to order from this company during hot weather!
Here's my advice for buying Healthy Trinity:
Look for the best price. Then call the seller to ascertain:
--How do you store Healthy Trinity upon delivery?
--Do you ship HT expedited AND in a styrofoam box with gel packs inside a cardboard box?
--Be sure to place your order on a Monday or Tuesday in order to avoid delay on delivery. Tell them you don't want your order shipped on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.
--Know where the package is coming from. If you can't get next day delivery in a styrofoam box with cold packs, make sure the weather is no more than 70 degrees at shipper and destination or find another company from which to buy it.
Believe me, Healthy Trinity is worth all of the trouble!
