Really like the pink color. I have thick, straight hair but like the super straitened look. My hair is usually difficult to straighten/curl with irons; it's stubborn. But this straightener works great on it! The heat settings have a nice big range from cooler, to way hot. I don't even have to put it on the highest setting to get my hair straight (which I usually do with other irons). My hair never catches in it, just slides easily through. Its pretty comfortable to hold. I like the swivel on the cord.

My husband bought this straightener for me and in the past I have tried to use them and had a hard time. This one is a great straightener for the price. It heats up quickly and the green light stays on when it is ready to use. I have really thick hair and in the past have used ones with the comb guide on them and found it catches in my hair so it was nice not having to deal with that. I like that the heating element doesn't wrap around makes it harder to burn myself. The unit itself is small and lightweight and very easy to handle. I am VERY happy with this purchase :-)

Based on all the great reviews, I thought it'd be a great bargain for something as great as this. As it IS something from Conair, I didn't expect it to be the ultimate most greatest straightener ever to grace mankind, but it DID live up to my expectations. I have thin, naturally straight hair and the only reason I use a straightener is because I have a lot of layers on the bottom of my hair that curl outwards. This is a good straighter to tame that, although I do have to crank the temperature up to a 20 for any heat to be anywhere near helpful at all. The pink color is cute, but I wouldn't make that the deciding factor towards this purchase. The only things that I don't like about this product is that: 1) the cord is nowhere near long enough. It almost always gets pulled out of the socket 2) I didn't really like the texture of the plates when I use the straightener, but I got used to it quickly. Maybe it's just me. But that's about it. Overall, I actually do like this product, and for $20, it was a godsend.

This IS an amazing straightener!! It gets REALLY hot if you need it too (for tight, natural curls like mine). The only thing I dont like is that I have very long, curly hair so I ahve to do it in small sections which is fine, but the safety feature built in where it turns itself off after x amount of time has come back to bite me before! I'm almost done and my ahir isn't straightening because the unit shut off! It's not a biggie, I keep an eye on it and it heats up FAST! Within a few minutes it's ready to go. I usually give it about 5 minutes to stabilize the temp though before I use it. It's a great deal for the money! The person who gave it 1 star doesn't know what they're talking about! This is a really great straightener for the price and even beyond!

First of all, I love the feeling of knowing I donated SOMETHING towards the cure of breast cancer. Second, this product rocks. I have ridiculously curly hair that curls 5 seconds after it is straightened... you all know how that is... but that doesn't happen with this! It is easy to use and has 30 different heat settings. It is cute, compact, and a great buy!
