I know that sometimes you luck out and get a good deal with these kind of small CHEAP electric products but this was not the case. Even my really old iron is better! (it is a 2 inch, different brand, I was trying to update it). I have tried it with wet, damp and dry hair and the results are the same: not flat. Also I think that it dries up you hair more than other brands, it sure seems to damage more than my old one at least. I would not recommend it: Pay more and get a better product.

I bought this item for my 14 year old teenager and it has been an amazing purchase. It heats up fast, is easy to open and shut and hold closed, and it straightens at record speed. The design is very modern, we are very pleased with this product and it's price.

This product works... fine... when it actually decides to heat. I bought it online and used it maybe 3 times and it has completely stopped heating. Such a buzzkill. I didn't have the time or energy to return it and shipping it to Andis is a huge pain in the butt so I'm trashing it. To prospective customers: I recommend you spend your money elsewhere. I might've been unlucky and gotten the one defective one but I don't think it's worth going through the hassle to risk it. Spend an extra $10 and get a different brand.
