these are great. Saved my marriage as I had to have TV on so loud it hurt my wife's ears. I can watch my programs with the TV on mute so it doesn't bother anyone else!

I have had these TV ears for about 6 months or so now. The work as well as advertised, but all of the performance is no good if you don't have them on. These things are uncomfortable to have on as they seem to be too tight. I am no fat head by any means, but none the less they are uncomfortable. They would be a lot better of there was a way to adjust the fit, but you can not do it with these.

Works awkwardly with new Panasonic plasma by TH (Alabama)  4 Stars

TV Ears works well on an old television set, but when I tried to connect it to a new Panasonic plasma unit nothing happened. The best way to attach TV Ears is to the "audio out" socket of the television set, but the Panasonic has none. There are several audio sockets, and I tried every one with no result. The Panasonic manual is horrible and Panasonic techs were uninterested in helping. The TV Ears instructions suggest plugging their unit into the cable set top box which works well, but not when playing a DVD. Attaching TV Ears to the DVD player also works, but then live television and the DVR can't be heard through TV Ears. The TV Ears instructions also suggest attaching one plug to the set top box and the other to the DVD player, but then to hear a DVD the set top box must be turned off. The only solution is two broadcast units-one attached to the set top box and the other to the DVD player and then unplugging one or the other. This works, but it is an added expense and kludgy.
Overall, the TV Ears personnel seemed unconcerned that their system works so awkwardly with relatively new technology.

This company could have design this better ,it is very cheaply made .It won't last long and most tv's do not have Audio outs why would they unless the tv manufacture thought one day you might want to buy this product .No other use to have audio outs on your tv except for this .For the price they should have included the microphone adapter but then the couldn't make so much money of the less people with hearing loss.
They do work in the main tv room unless somebody walks in front of the path of the receiver.

This was the third item of my order that arrived packaged properly. Had a small problem with it arriving on a Saturday afternoon. I could not get the headphones to charge much less see any lights on according to the brochure.
Made a call to the service department listed in the brochure and the person said he would make a note of my call in their computer. I gave him my phone number for them to call me Tuesday because I thought I would be out of town on Monday.
Turned out that I was in Monday and I called back and the service lady connected me with their technician and together we determined that the frog that breaks down the voltage was defective. After describing the item in detail to him he knew which one I had and he was placing an order for a new one to be sent to me.
And, he told me if this did not work to call him back and he would send me a new complete system. The new frog solved my problem and the complete set is working fine.
Great Experience Indeed!!!
