I am in stage 4 of periodontal disease because I have a fear of going to the dentist. My teeth have even started to feel loose. I ordered this product in an effort to make my situation better before going to the dentist in the near future. I really had no confidence in this product. That is, until I used it the first day. My husband and I both used it and noticed a big difference in how clean our mouths felt. I use Spry natural toothpaste first. The directions say to brush each quadrant for 30 seconds with your regular toothpaste and then do the same with the Nature's smile tooth balm. I've been using this product now for about 3 days - and I must say, "I am very impressed with this product!!!" On the second day I noticed that my gums had grown back or up...my gums had started receding and now they are back - maybe not exactly the way it was before I had periodontal disease. But I notice a huge difference. Also my teeth feel stronger - they don't feel as loose -every day my gums and teeth are getting better and better. I will still be going to the dentist. But I am so thankful for the jump start this product gave me - the confidence to face my fear of the dentist!!! Thank you so much,Nature's Smile!!!!

What the ads for this product tell you before you order is that you must "use as directed" to get results. What they do NOT tell you is that "as directed" means brushing first with regular tootpaste for 2.5 minutes per quadrant (10 min.) and then brushing with Nature's Smile for the same amount of time, for a total of 20 minutes each time you brush. And they suggest at least twice per day. I think burshing with ANYTHING for that long amount of time would have some effect. Sadly, I experienced greater bleeding and even pain (something I did not have before)as a result of using this product.
Order OraMD instead...that's one that does work! I'm switching back.

I tried all kinds of toothpaste to help my receeding gums, but nothing really did the job. At first I was skeptical about this product, but there's really no harm in trying when you're desperate. I used to have bleeding gums every time I brush, but I noticed a difference only after a few days after using it. I've been using this product for 6 months now and I can truly say it helped me a lot. Of course you will still have to go to the dentist for regular cleaning and have a good dental hygiene. But just follow the instructions that came with the product and you'll be just fine.
