Produced, Packaged and Sold by Wonder Laboratories, OUR ADVANCED B-12 is specially formulated with methylcobalamin Vitamin B-12. Methylcobalamin is a type of Vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 comes in several kinds including hydroxy-, cyano-, and adenosyl-, but only the methyl form is also used in the central nervous system. Deficiency states are fairly common and vitamin B12 deficiency mimics many other disease states of a neurological or psychological kind, and it causes anemia. Cyanocobalamin (the cheapest to produce and the kind in most vitamin supplements) is converted by the liver into methylcobalamin but not in therapeutically significant amounts. Vitamin B12 deficiency is caused by a wide range of factors including low gastric acidity (common in older people,) use of acid blockers or excessive laxative use, lack of intrinsic factor, poor absorption from the intestines, lack of Calcium, heavy metal toxicity, or excessive Vitamin B12 degradation. If you are anemic, elderly, have digestive disorders, or vegetarian you may have an immediate need for supplemental Vitamin B12. |

I formerly used a different brand of this product (same ingredients and strengths of each) until I found this one. Same results at a better price--I was just paying for the name before, I guess. Can't afford to purchase a name in today's economy--just want the results.

I paid a lot for this product for my husband. Then, a warning came out on the news that folic acid supplements cause other health problems. My husband stopped taking this supplement and we bought another supplement that was just B-12.

I did hours and hours of research on the vitamin B injections for energy replacement and weight loss. I discovered that the injections seem to have the best results; however, the thought of giving my hubby and myself and injection is too unnerving; so, we bought the next best thing--the sublingual tablets. We haven't lost any weight and don't have more energy; however, I do think one of the ingredients in this pill is an artificial sweetner, which I read is harmful to humans. I wish I hadn't ordered it--I wish I had gone to the doctor and gotten the B injections instead, or ordered the injectibles online through Dr. Gates at [...] and paid someone 2 give us the injections. Now, we're stuck with two bottles of this stuff ($[...]) that we are afraid to take because of the negative reviews of the artificial sweetner.

I've taken these for 3 weeks now, and increased my dose to 2 per day after the first week, but they haven't changed my energy level yet. I bought these because of the many glowing reviews I read, and I'm hoping that with time I'll feel a change. I'm sure it's a good supplement to take for my health.
