The Rib Support is 6" wide with beathable elastic contoured under the bust, velcro closures for easy fastening and removal. It helps stabilize rib and sternum fractures by limiting expansion through compression, limits the expansion for chest to promote healing. The Rib Support provides comfort and encourages more controlled breathing to help reduce pain. It also provides support and compression to the muscles and soft tissues of the rib cage weakened by strain, trauma, overuse, inactivity or surgery.
