My son is an athlete who is hard on his bones and joints. He's also severely allergic to shellfish, making traditional chondroitin a serious problem. After trying another "shellfish free" product, we tried the offering from Solgar. It seems to work far better than the GNC product (now discontinued) and he has suffered no ill effects at all from taking it. Two pills per day is manageable; each jar provides a 60 day supply. I recommend this product highly for anyone with seafood allergies.

My Mom and I are allergic to shell fish so this product is the one way we have of getting Glusosamine Chrondroitin. As an added bonus it also contains MSM. That means one less pill to take.
