This looks great in my kid's rooms. I love the sleek design and color. I got one for each room. The kids (2 and 4) were pretty good about not playing with them, but I did put them high up on a dresser. They love to help fill up the tanks. When on the highest setting it really gets the room some moisture. A full tank seems to last all night in the large rooms we have. I did find that the dresser and the floor were quite moist after the humidifier was on high-so I would recommend laying down a towel under the humidifier and near it on the floor. We have hardwood floors. I would recommend these to anyone!

This is my second Crane. My first was the Peguin style. I really liked it and had it for years. I lost the plug to the tank and they don't make the same style plug anymore. So I bought this unit especially because of it's pleasant looks.
I don't give it 5 stars because I wish it forced the mist higher into the air.

Short and to the point: This product does put humidity into the air... So much so that photos in my bedroom started to curl. It's pretty quiet... On the highest setting it will make some noise, but unless it's right next you probably won't notice. Meant for a small room though.

I bought this item for my boyfriend to use.
The humidifier is quiet and easy to use. He empties it after each use to prevent mildew or mold from growing in the air.
It does make a gurgling noise from time to time but it is almost unnoticable

This is my second Crane humidifier in the past 4 years, and for $40 I think the 1st one lasted a while. It looks great in my contemporary bedroom, which is one of the things I was looking for, plus it does a GREAT job humidifying the air. My room is 10x11, and it makes it feel much more comfortable during the winter time, even if it is in the farthest corner of the room.
It is hard to clean, I wish they would come up with a better design because it does not make sense that you cannot clean the tank unless you put some solution on it and shake it vigorously and then make sure that you remove all residue before filling it up again (I'm lazy, so I only do this once every 2 weeks). I still give it 4 stars because other models and brands have the same problem, and among them this is still one of the best buys.
