Pain reliever, nasal decongestant, antihistamine. Contains 3 medicines. Acetaminophen - headache; phenylephrine - sinus pressure, nasal congestion; chlorpheniramine maleate - runny nose/sneezing, itchy, watery eyes. Alcohol Warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask a doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers or fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage. Do not use: With any other product containing acetaminophen. if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's Disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contain MAOI ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this drug. Ask a doctor before use if you have heart disease, thyroid disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, trouble urinating due to enlarged prostate gland, a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, glaucoma. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers. When using this product: Do not exceed recommended dosage, excitability may occur, especially in children, drowsiness may occur, alcohol, sedatives and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness, avoid alcoholic drinks. be careful when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery. Stop use and ask a doctor if: Nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occur, pain or nasal congestion gets worse or lasts more than 7 days, fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days, redness or swelling is present, new symptoms occur. These could be signs of a serious condition. |

I suffer from seasonal allergies, and have tried several medications over the years. This product is consistently the best and fastest at clearing up my congestion headaches.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it makes me very drowsy. It makes me so drowsy, in fact, that I could probably use it as a sleep aid. So I really wouldn't recommend this if you're going to be doing anything that requires full alertness.

How these products work is very particular to the individual but it sure works well for me. You just have to try it for yourself and see if it works for you.
