All Dermae products are fantastic. I am 42 years old, and can say that I have tried EVERYTHING for my breakouts. I have always had problem skin, but when I turned 40, my hormones caused bad breakouts, especially around my jawline. I had been using proactive, which although it somewhat worked, it lost its effectiveness after about a year, and even though they claim is is spalike ingredients, it basically is harsh overtime. I had been reading about how benzoyl peroxide overtime oxidizes your skin (hence the peroxide in the ingredient name) and this causes accelerated aging. I have been trying to eat healthier foods that are more natural, so why should I put chemicals on my face? Your skin is your largest organ, yes, it is an organ, with millions of pores that allow unhealthy substances to seep in. I originally purchased derma e in a health food store, but find the prices at amazon to be better. I cannot say enough about their products. My face has cleared up and looks amazing. Even though I have oily skin, other products would dry my face out. What is most amazing is that my skin never dried out with this product.They also make a wonderful tea tree with vitamin e, a glycolic facial wash,and antiaging products which are amazing. Their commitment to quality ingredients as well as the percentage of active ingredients is impressive. I have recently started my 12 year old son on the tea tree products for some mild acne that he started getting, and I know that I don't have to worry about harmful chemicals being put directly on his skin.
