great for breastfeeding by Mom of all boys (USA) 5 Stars

wow. This is a great over the counter product. I currently am breastfeeding so I was looking for something that didn't have any hormonal effects and my husband and I both hate condoms. But when using it properly neither of us have had any side effects from it and no more babies either. We are not going to go back on the birth control pills being that these are much safer and MUCH more pleasurable (just use it when you need it).

Seemed to be the Godsend Contraceptive, but... by B. A. Jones (Little Rock, AR, USA) 3 Stars

My wife and I were looking for a contraceptive that would satisfy both of us as she is incompatible with most bc pills and I don't like condoms. This seemed to be the ticket! Just place one of these inserts as close to the cervix as possible 10 minutes before sex and a new one for any additional hour of protection required. It does give my wife a warming sensation and doesn't bother her at all. Other guys have complained about the taste-- I really didn't have that much of problem--it certainly doesn't taste like candy, but it's not that bad. The big problem for me is that after sex, I had a serious burning sensation when I urinated-- I'd say a 3 or 4 out of 10. It lasted at this level for about 3 days then subsided to 2 or a 1 for a week. I guess I might be able to suffer occasionally, but we can't rely on this for our main contraceptive unfortunately and may have to look elsewhere. I see other reviews for the jelly--we may try that out.

Great! by Allison Lee (Texas) 5 Stars

I was on the mini pill for a few months (as I am breastfeeding) and it caused me to have a period every other week! After contacting my doctor, my only option was an IUD, condoms or tough it out. I decided to come off the pill and use condoms as I am not fond of IUDs. A friend told me she had been using these effectively for years so I decided to give them a go. I don't think they are messy at all, they key is to make sure you insert it far enough. It creates a warming sensation that is quite pleasurable and so far no more babies! I am a big fan of this product and will continue to use it until we are ready for the next one!

Greatest Form of Protection by Thomas Ng (USA) 5 Stars

Im commenting on the product, and not the seller as I have just ordered. When it comes to price, I find these the secound cheapest form of protection (condoms being the best of course). These are easy to use, Very easy to carry around. and if one lets say falls out of your jacket during a dinner with your girlfriend or boyfriends family, no one will be the wiser. Yes as the other reviewer has stated, horrible taste (but thats with everything nowadays) and does create some fluid. Most of my exs have stated that after about 10 minutes they become very moist, and some "leak". althou no foam has been found, and i wasnt able to tell it apart from the normal leakage. Not to mention this tends to be better for the guy, and its MUCH easier to use then the VGF Films

I have been on the hunt for otc b/c options since having my daughter, and I've bought, tried, and thrown this out!! Yes, it does protect, but it isn't discreet, once your body activates the capsule it will begin to disslove and fill your vagina with a foam that begins to seep out because of your body heat! My husband has had no adverse reactions to it, but detests the taste of it. Bottom line: try the gelly, it adds lubrication and stays in place.
