| It does what it supous to but... by Silvio Cuevas (Asunción, Paraguay) 2 Stars November 21, 2009 I bought this item to use it in mi veterinary practice in Asunción, Paraguay. I have a delivery address located in Miami, Fl which is a freight forwarder company. When stuff arrives there they just send it to me to Paraguay. The only problem is that this service works only one way. Conclusion: There is no return.
The product itself does what it supous to do. Is made out of plastic and it is somehow fragile.
On Amazon says that it comes with an Ac adapter. Well, the one I ordered came without it and since there is no technical data on the device (like voltage or polarity) neither a manual is impossible to know what kind of AC adapter I have to buy separately to make it work.
I send several emails not only to the seller but to the manufacturer asking for this information but until now, no answer.
It also says that you can adjust the time of exposure but be aware that this is only possible by removing the back plastic cover and turning some sort of screw to aider left or right and testing because there are no marks or indications to witch direction to turn.
Considering that there is as battery operated version and it work with a 9v battery I took a 7, 5 volt AC adapter and currently I'm using the id printer with it.
The quality of the impression is very good. Took me several disassembly operations t o get the right light intensity but ones I got the right one has been working ok.
