this brand of acai capsule was well priced for the mg and # of capsules, but the capsules were very large and difficult to swallow, so i don't take it every day and have still not finished the bottle. i was not seeing any loss of appetite either or any mysterious weight loss of even a couple pounds. maybe it takes a couple months consistently taking the capsules, but i'm not convinced this miracle berry is really a miracle.

Acai Berry Fruit Capsules / B001QD9VLO
I generally try to stay away from 'diet' pills, but after reading that acai is supposed to be good for the body for reasons other than just weight loss, it seemed like a win-win situation.
I took these pills, once a day, every morning for 60 days, and kept a log of everything I ate and my morning, afternoon, and evening weight. After all that, I can't honestly say that I felt that the acai "helped" my weight loss efforts in any significant manner. At the end of the 60 day period, my weight had gone down, but not at a different rate than it had already been going down from my previous "exercise and diet" regimen the two months prior to the acai pills. I also definitely did not feel more energetic, but since I have been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I'm sure that my personal experience may not reflect anyone else's results.
I won't be buying these again because I didn't feel that the price was offset by any tangible "hard" benefits. But your mileage may vary - everyone's body is different, after all.

Considering I have a lot of weight to lose and based on the reviews for this product I purchased it. It was disappointing that there were no instructions as to how to take it. However I used it for 3 weeks, alternating between taking 2 capsules at once or one in the morning and one in the evening. In neither case was this effective. In fact, I was more lethargic and more hungry than prior to using it.
I did exercise in that I walk daily. About the only benefit I noticed was that the pain in my joints seemed to subside however I retained a lot of water despite the fact that I drink water constantly.
I am disappointed but I know that not all products work the same for all people. I figured since I had a lot to lose weight-wise, it might be to my benefit. I hoped for something to at least get me started on weight loss; I only managed to lose 2 lbs even with a controlled calory diet. While this product was not for me, hopefully there will be something else out there that will help get me started.
