Good gloves, but a design flaw... by D  4 Stars

These are nice waterproof work gloves -- not super-warm and insulated like a normal pair of winter gloves, but certainly good enough to keep your hands comfortable in the cold or rain. One problem, though: the inner fleece liner is sewn in to the glove only at the wrist. I inadvertently pulled the liner fingers out of the glove fingers in one glove, and it's a chronic problem to get it to fit properly now. Otherwise solid, they seem very durable after I've put them through many hours of rainy trailwork.

These work very good! I am working on steel power towers. The fingers are shaped so you can grab and feel whats in my tool pouch, and they are really warm so far.. It hasent been below 30 yet but so far so good. I will no doubt buy another pair after these give out.

I got these for my husband. He really wanted waterproof gloves, not because he works at a construction site or in a meat locker or something, but because he was sick of his hands getting wet and frozen every time he cleaned the snow off his windshield. The gloves are extremely warm and totally waterproof. They're nice looking too and they're not bulky.

Great gloves, keep my hands warm even when very wet. The inside is very comfortable and fleece lined. I only have one complaint and that is that the Velcro to tighten the glove at the wrist isn't very effective and curls under the edge of the glove towards my wrist and that is a little annoying.

I work on board tug boats in the harbor of NY/NJ and wanted a waterproof cold weather glove to handle wet lines during the winter, or to wear in a cold rain where every other garment of mine is warm and waterproof.
This is a decent glove if you dont plan on actually getting it wet. (putting it under a faucet isn't really a good test). In actual use, I've found that the gloves are more water "resistant", not waterproof. They start out fine, but after 10 minutes of handling wet lines, the inside starts to get wet and cold real fast. I still wear them, but shelf them for PVC lobsterman gloves when I know they're really going to get wet.
On the flip side, if you're only going to get them wet occasionally, or accidentally, these will be fine. (chances are though, such people won't be shopping for a glove labeled "waterPROOF"). There could also be more insulation... in the future, I dont think I'll consider a glove with a thin fleece lining to be a "winter" glove.
On the good side, the dexterity is good, enough to operate a handheld VHF radio, (dont expect to send text messages with them) and after 3 months of constant abuse, they've held up great.
3 stars though for not living up to a major selling point.
