I use this for work just about everyday. I have absolutely no problem locating that elusive breaker. The only problem I ran into was when the battery in the locating wand had expired. Put in a new battery and I was back in business. The only drawback is when you come upon a circuit htat is not live. A trade-off I can live with. The attachments/adapters cover every scenario you would come across on a daily basis.

You wont be dealing with the headaches anymore when you have this baby in hand. When it arrived I checked three different lights and receptacles in my house and it got it right every time. I've used it about 20 time now and I seriously love this thing. Read the calibration instructions before you use it and you wont have a problem. No false readings yet!!

When working by yourself it is a great time saver. Be sure to hold it the correct way or you get alot of false reading.

I was deciding between the standard circuit finder and the circuit finder pro, which is about $70 more. I opted for the more expensive one, and I have absolutely no regrets. The pro version provides you with far more versatility. Not only can you detect circuits for devices plugged into outlets, but essentially any other electrical items (light sockets, exposed wires), by using the included adapters. It has allowed me to identify circuits on the very first attempt, by myself, without having to trek from the electrical panel in the basement to any of the other floors in the house. Just a great investment.

I read other reviews of this and competing products. To make a long story short, if you follow the directions, it works like it's supposed to. Nuff said?
