I have used these lights in Iraq, Africa in red and white. I love this product, it does not come on when you don't want it to like other lights and is small enough to hook to your dog tags or button hole or a key chain. I recommend highly, Retired Special Forces

Bought this for the UV and was glad to see that it gave also white light. The UV instantly charges the glow-in-the-dark hands on my watch. The white light helps see a key hole. The white light beam size is about the size of my foot when shinned on the floor so it is hardly enough to see for walking even one short step - you will likely want a slightly larger unit for walking in dark. It puts maybe a 6" blob of light on a wall 10 feet away but is quite dim. You will have to wait maybe 30 seconds for you eyes to adjust to use it for very very slow walking in the dark. Overall it works for me. Recommended especially for UV feature.
