| Not as good as it used to be by Alexander L. Meitiv 1 Stars October 19, 2009 Started to leak after two years of use. Has Culligan gone the way of the rest of the "make-it-disposable" business culture?
| | Crappy faucet! by V. Wood (Monrovia, CA) 3 Stars October 05, 2009 I read the negative reviews about the hardware and still bought it thinking that I would be ok as long as I'm careful and there were very good reviews about the filter itself. Well, the white plastic part that screws into the base of the faucet broke as we were installing it. I ended up buying another faucet from the store. I would suggest that you just buy the filter from Culligan and get the faucet separately.
| | tastes good, easy to install by Adrianne Mccarter (Billings, MT) 5 Stars October 04, 2009 Before you start this project, make sure to track down your Teflon tape. Also- when you're figuring out where to place the screws that hold the mounting bracket, be sure you have enough space above and also to the sides of the filter for the hoses. I found assembly to be pretty easy, even considering that I was under the kitchen sink in a very awkward position for a while!
The water tastes great. It comes out slow, but then it's got a lot to get through in order to get to your glass. Did not get the dual stage filter b/c people convinced me that being on city water- nearly all sediment is already filtered from our water so the sediment filter is really not necessary.
| | An excellent filtering system by Norbert H (NJ USA) 4 Stars September 13, 2009 This has eliminated the need to buy bottled water from my home, as well as keeping pitchers of filtered water around. Whenever I want good, clean water, I get it from the faucet of the filtering system. The flow is almost as fast as the regular faucet. The only reason I can't give this a 5 star is because the faucet is a bit flimsy, and I worry about breaking it.
| | Great filter, but... by Roman Obmachkin 4 Stars September 12, 2009 I owned this filter for about 2 months now and I really like it. Water tastes great. It's probably the best filter for value vs. price. Filter cartridge is very easy to install, and very easy to replace. I'm probably going to change faucet in the future, the original one works well so far.
It's an off topic but I hope it helps some people. Be careful when you filling something with water. Water runs under low pressure, so it runs really slow. I've already forgot couple of times that I was filling something so much kitchen got flooded a bit.
It was relatively easy to install the filter. Forget about included screws to hang it inside your cabinet/vanity. My drill destroyed the screw's head at the third turn. Find two decent
