Crazy-strong magnet by Math Geek (Fairfax VA) 5 Stars November 21, 2009 But be careful, they are so powerful that they will fly out of your hand. In fact, 2 of them did just that, collided in mid-air and snapped in half. So I had to order another set. Hard to blame the magnet for being powerful!

Very strong by J. Bennett 5 Stars August 26, 2009 They're very strong, quite a pain to get apart if you let them touch each other.

Great Magnets by S. Edwards 5 Stars August 01, 2009 These magnets are great! Strong, yet small enough to be used in many instances.

Very STRONG Magnets! Highly Recommended! by CFH (Blue Ridge Summit, PA USA) 5 Stars May 29, 2009 The Magcraft 1" Disc Magnets are very strong and well made. These are very high quality magnets that are perfect for science projects.
These large disk magnets can hold a lot of weight and some care should be taken when you have a bunch of them together as they are very powerful. We have taken the advice of other reviewers and have not made the mistake of letting these smash together, so have not seen the chipping problem some others have reported.
Be sure to save the packaging as it is well made and likely the best way to store these when not in use.
Highly recommended!

Be careful not to let them stick together! They are strong! by Nicholas M. Folts (Boston, MA USA) 5 Stars May 08, 2009 These magnets are EXTREMELY strong... I accidentally let two of them stick together and it took 5 minutes before I figured out a way to pull them apart. They were easily strong enough to mount a small dry-erase board to my refrigerator. I can't imagine them not being strong enough for most applications.
