These bulbs are great this is the second time I've ordered CFL bulbs and haven't been dissappointed yet.

These are described as "Soft White". For every other seller this means 2700k. For this seller this apparently means the harsh and glaring 3000k spectrum that everyone hates. Won't purchase again. They should be described as sunlight or natural light spectrum.

My experience with this Sylvania CFL has been quite poor. Of the 3 bulbs I have purchased, one failed within a month, one failed within less than a year (BTW an incandescent installed in a tandem lamp prior to the CFL is still working) and the third is still working. These bulbs have been used, on average, about 4 hours a day. When they work the 23 watt bulb produces good light. However, as energy efficient as they may be, in my opinion they are not reliable and as a result probably not cost efficient.

I'm very happy with these lamps, but unfortunately I had to deal with some broken glass. Amazon placed the package just in a cardboard box with some air packs, and 3 of the 6 bulbs were broken when it arrived. They dutifully sent a replacement pack, which was packed in the same manner and suffered the same fate. I took the 3 good bulbs out of each package to end up with the 6 I paid for, but this is a pain. I wouldn't buy them again from here, since I wouldn't want to deal with broken glass and returning the package, etc.
Kind of a shame, since the product itself is really great. They're very bright, and I've replaced nearly all the bulbs in my apartment with them. I haven't noticed any flickering, as can be common with other fluorescents.

The bulbs work great. They start little dim but get brighter with time. I am using them in the bathroom and find them to be excellent to get myself going throughout the day! Delivery was a bit slow.
