I recently purchased the 4-piece ridgid combo pack for work and it comes with the same lithium-ion batteries shown here. I do electrical work on a Marine Base. I mainly use a screwdriver, so it's not like I use these tools constantly. It just seems like everytime I go to use my tools, they need a charge. These batteries just don't seem to hold a charge for very long. I always take the battery off of whatever tool I happened to be using at the time. That way the battery doesn't drain as fast, but It doesn't seem to really matter. These batteries should last alot longer than they do. Like the other review says, you'll get about 2-3 hours of drill time maybe. Don't get me wrong, I like my tool set. I just wish they'd last a little longer.

Battery arrived defective. Since is was a gift for my son and he lives out-of-state, he just exchanged it at the local Home repair box store with an Orange Sign.

I bought this battery and never held a charge. It was quite a bit less expensive than at Home Depot but worthless. I ended up having to buy one at regular price. The battery came in a plastic bag which should have given me pause. It must have been either a factory reject or refurbished. Do not waste your money.
