The STP charges rather quickly and supplies a fair amount of torque for completing small jobs. It is also lightweight and fits nicely in your hand. Men, this is the cordless screwdriver that your wife will use the most! Things that we enjoy- - The small light that is emitted whenever the screwdriver is engaged. This helps to eliminate the need for a third hand as you try to hold the screwdriver, the screw and a separate flashlight! - Lightweight - weighs about a pound - Everything is chuckless - no worries about tightening the heads into place - Seems to charge quickly and holds a fair charge - I have never had it run out of power during use (but again - for big jobs I use a real drill) Areas for improvement - I realize that this is only used for small jobs, but I would still love to see variable torque settings - The philip heads that come with the unit seem to round off rather quickly - Will be tough to find any drill bits that fit the unit. - Kind of expensive for what you are getting. If you look you will probably be able to find a 14V rechargable drill for about the same price. Final Verdict - Works well for its intended purpose. This is not a drill, and if you need a full drill you will be disappointed. However, if you need something that will help you hang a picture frame this is the tool for you! 4 Stars

I'm not a professional mechanic or anything, but I really like this screwdriver. It's easy to use and well designed and sure comes in handy for those projects around the house. I like the STP brand and will purchase more items in the future. Thank You STP !!

STP SD10033 4.0 Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless/Rechargeable Screwdriver with Limited Edition Aluminum Storage Case Nice looking tool and case. Unfortunately the trigger is of such poor design that it works best in reverse, and hardly at all in forward. After using it for some simple jobs I became increasingly frustrated by the fact that I had to hold the tool in an awkward position just to get it to turn on when pressing the trigger, since it would not run unless the trigger was pressed just right and rather firmly. It works quite easily in reverse, just touch the trigger. Too bad you need it to work mostly in the forward mode and that is the hardest to make the thing turn on. It quits running when you finally get it to start a screw or when it just begins to tighten a bit. I expected much better quality from these people, I have really wasted my money on this tool. I recommend DON"T BUY!
