I live in rural Colorado and we get alot of field mice in our home during the Fall and Winter months. A couple of years ago my wife and I got tired of buying mouse traps and poisons, so we decided to give this product a shot. It worked great! We continued to catch a few mice in our traps for a couple of weeks and then we never caught or saw another mouse for two years. Then one day we had a bad power surge and it broke the unit. Literally within about three weeks we had a mouse problem again. Went to Walmart to buy another unit and ended up buying a similar divice that does not use home wireing, but intead uses ultrosonic noises transmitted thru a speaker. That product sucked and didn't work. That is why I'm back on Amazon to buy this unit again because it does work. This product will get rid of mice, but does not work on spiders. We have daddy long leg spiders and this did not phase them one bit.

Purchased this product before and not a mouse in the house. But found one this year and for secondary defence, we put down glue traps also. Caught a few, but if they want to get in they will get into your home. Combine the item with shake away and the backup is the mouse away.

Conecté Riddex Plus y a la semana no habían casi cucarachas y las pocas que aparecían iban como "locas". Hice una fumigación profunda y se eliminaron todas. A los 15 dias, NI UN SOLO "BICHO" en la casa.

I would give this a half star if I could. I was given this thing by my landlord to battle the roach problem we were having...I plugged it in and in a few days we had more roaches, in fact they were hiding behind the freaking plug. It scared the crap out of me and my wife because there were a bumch hiding there. I was pissed that it drew roaches not get rid of them. I am going back to the "dangerous sprays and poisons".

The product did not seem to work at first. But then I forgot about it and one day I noticed the mice/ rats were all gone! Did not work on ants or any thing like that but do not have mice anymore...There are many outside but none in the house.
