It always looks clean and has duraguard antimicrobial agent on it that is suppose to keep it clean. I personally love having the different color toilet seat! It makes going that much more fun! haha
When you close it, it's not loud like someone toilet seats.

At first I was so happy when my order arrived because the color was a perfect match for my old bathroom tile. BUT..underneath the seat lid, was a row of about 7 small, round paint chips, even though the product was brand new and shrink-wrapped. I returned the seat and asked for a replacement. When the replacement arrived, it not only had a nearly identical row of paint chips, but the paint on the seat itself was smeared and there were blue paint smudges on the cardboard packaging. Seems the problem is with the manufacturer's packaging process. So, I've now given up on it and asked Amazon for a refund.
