EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description Classic Midget set of 6, clear containers with red lids. | Amazon.com Review Perfect for storing small stuff, the six rugged little plastic containers in this set are indispensable in the kitchen, sewing room, workroom, and everywhere else. In the kitchen, they're great for spices and sprinkles, and because they're calibrated for 1, 1-1/2, and 2 ounces, for measuring liquids. In the sewing room, they hold pins and needles. In the workroom, they keep tacks and nails from scattering. On a trip, they're terrific for medications. Heading off to preschool, a tot can carry juice because Tupperware's legendary seals are virtually airtight and leakproof. And they keep a fishing-tackle box tidy. The blue seals snap tight by pressing in the middle with a finger or thumb. The midgets stand 2-1/2 inches high and are colored Sheer Ice. Virtually unbreakable and dishwasher-safe, Tupperware carries a lifetime warranty against chipping, cracking, breaking, and peeling. --Fred Brack |

| Great for more than you think by E. Morris (CO USA) 5 Stars April 02, 2007 I ordered these originally because of the size and they were interesting. I use them all the time. They are perfect if you want to watch your portion size for salad dressing because they have the measurement on the side. They are great for your vitamins for the day, a few days, or the week depending on what you take. They often travel with me and are used all the time. You could even take them on picnics for small portions of your ketchup, mustard, or mayo without taking the large jars with you.
Use your imagination and anything is possible with these great containers!
| | a million uses by S. Tilley (OHIO) 5 Stars January 31, 2007 These little Tupperware jewels have been around a long time. I got my first two for free at a Tupperware party in the l960's or l970's. Sadly, only one of those two remains; but I was ecstatic when I saw they still make them. I use mine for daily meds (take lots of vitamins, fish oil, etc. and it's perfect for my purse. They would be good for a serving of
salad dressing, something to put small pieces of jewelry in, etc. etc.
I have 3 sets now and if I can think of more uses, I just might order more!
| | Love the product, don't like the name. by 2nearsighted (Dublin, OH) 3 Stars September 27, 2003 First off, there is nothing more convenient and helpful in the kitchen than Tupperware. So it is with a heavy heart that I must write this. I have a cousin who is "a little person," and he was so offended at the name 6-PIECE CLASSIC SHEER MIDGETS SET TUPPERWARE that he went into a veritable depression. While visiting my house, he refused to eat leftovers. At first I found his behavior to be extreme, but he made a good point. What other slur would be deemed acceptible by a major manufacturer? He's right. The product should be renamed TUPPERWARE 6-PIECE CLASSIC SHEET LITTLE PERSON/DWARF SET TUPPERWARE to avoid this kind of pointless name calling. Little people have been marginalized for too long, and they're tax-paying citizens just like the rest of us. Beyond that complaint, however, I found the product very satisfactory. It keeps food fresh longer, and preserves flavor. Hence my profound ambivalence.
| | Perfect design and function by T. Reinhardt (east coast) 5 Stars August 26, 2003 I love these and have bought several sets over the years. They are wonderful for many in-kitchen as well as out of kitchen uses. They have held up and don't seem to get out of shape, the old ones are just as functional as the new ones.As far as uses go besides the obvious dressing-on-the-side in a brown bagger lunch I have used them for quite alot of other things. Personally, I hate when there is one spoonful of something left in the fridge and have a giant quart jar taking up space. If i put the last spoonful of mayo, or olives, sesame oil.... apple sauce... salad dressing...in one of these than I can throw away the big bottle. That works out very well for me. Other uses:Daily line-up of vitaminsor pills to gocollection of tiny thiings your not sure what they are...from the junk drawKeeping track on anything small when travelingCookie cutters when used upside downI have filled them with the *right* amount of bubble bath for my son to use so that I don't go to clean te bathroom only to find he has dumped the whole bottle in... that was very helpful!Keeping track of small jewelry parts that I don't know what to do with..like the odd clasp or earring back... a broken bale, etc.I have found many very good uses for these and expect to find many more. I never thought I would find this tiny size useful but it has been a great pleasure to have been wrong!
| | These Puppies Are the Best! by Robin Currier 5 Stars October 15, 2002 Finally, a way to carry salad dressing in my purse without the horror of an oil-soaked check book! These things are just the right size for salad dressing servings (2 tablespoons), have markings on the side so you can measure precisely, and WILL NOT LEAK! They really are the best, and a big help to dieters who want to have their own salad dressing when they eat out or brown bag it at work.
