This garlic press is sturdy and presses the garlic enough to make removing the skin easier. However, I found out that it really does not mince the garlic through the holes. Probably, it does if you really press very hard but I end up mincing garlic with a knife...a two step process.

This press worked well and I loved it until it broke. Used for less than a year and now I'm looking for a replacement. Won't buy it again!

Easy to clean, uniform mince. Need my husbands strong hand grip when there is a pile of garlic to press.

Bought new directly from Amazon and the garlic press I received was clearly used and returned. Yuck!

This is a beautifully made garlic press. Unfortunately, at age 72 I don't have enough strength in my hands to use it. If it weren't for that, I would rate it a 5. Great tool!
