this is not suitable for crafts. the max heat it tolerates is 86F. Even as an ice cube tray, the dolphin tail detaches frequently.

Silicone does not crack with repetitive use. Very good ice cube trays. Plastic is out, silicone is in.

I use this mold to make small soaps which are delightful. Kids love them. Plus they pop right out of the mold. No need to grease or spray mold. Great mold. Great samples of soaps to hand out as well.

i bought this item because i thought it'd be fun to have shaped ice cubes for the kids. and it is. but the cubes are SMALL so you'll end up using most or all of them for one largish glass of liquid. Also, they're not easy to refill because the silicone is sort of floppy.
