Mine is the same thing except it has a black base. I've had mine for about 5 years and i ordered from Old Glory. The thing with this kind of lava lamp is that the blue color tends to fade away over periods of time of usage and you get like brown wax particles in the wax and the wax gets more transparent yellowish over periods of time of usage as well. All in all it was and still is a good lava lamp. Anyways, I just use it as a night light, which is ok, even though it doesn't have the blue liquid anymore.

In good shape as far as i can tell but either the bulb does not work of the lamp does not work.

This lamp is a joke. It is advertised as blue and green but it ends up all the same color (both fluids)--greenish blue. The convected blobs are barely visible. It is not supposed to be used for more than eight hours at a time, but it takes fours hours to warm up.
Don't waste your money.

I put this on a timer in my kids' room (ages 9, 7 and 5). It turns on a couple of hours before bedtime (to get warmed up and start flowing) and turns off a couple of hours after they drift off). It is relaxing to watch and provides some light without being harsh. My kids know not to play with or touch the lamp, otherwise I wouldn't be comfortable using it this way (as a nightlight of sorts).
