Reviews here are funny! Maybe this has changed since earlier ones but it it is slightly higher at far edge so water DOES drain, it's the same red as the wire rack you buy separately, and it is... it is... a dish drainer mat. How complicated can it be. It works just fine. Looks nifty.

Purchased this to go with dish drainer, happy purchase, good service, surprised to see that it drains from the side rather than from the end of the drain board; this is ok with where it is in use but 90 degrees different from that to which they were accustomed. May or may not have purchased had known about this detail before purchase - would have further researched availability of end draining board.

This drain board was okay, but was a little too small for the metal dish rack I bought my mother.
