I was a bit disappointed to find that these bowls were not microwavable. I gave them as a gift and did not see anything on the product description that stated that.

I like light-weight plastic bowls for cold foods and snacks. Its not easy to find! I ordered these bowls in lime green and its a fun color. Great price for 6 bowls. I washed them in the dish washer top rack and so far no problems. They are labeled made in China and I wasn't really sure if I wanted to eat from a colored bowl but I think for wrapped chocolates & some chips its ok. I wont eat any hot foods from these bowls though.

I purchased these bowls specifically for prep use in the kitchen. I was tired of dragging out my huge mixing bowls everytime I needed to get a chopped onion, pepper, etc off of my cutting board, so I set out to find the perfect size prep bowls - and I specifically wanted them all the same size (I have no use for those little pinch bowls - seems like a waste of dish washing liquid)...
These bowls are perfect for the job! They are light in weight, dishwasher and microwave safe (as stated on the sticker on the bottom of each bowl), and they do the job well!
My only gripe with them is that they don't really stack very well - these six bowls stacked together reach a pretty high height - nearly 10 inches high - it would have been nice if they nested together neatly, as they wouldn't take up as much space in my already tiny cabinets!

I am not sure about all melamine products, I can't find any that are microwave safe so maybe the material just isn't. But I would have liked to know that before hand. Other than that, these bowls are everything the others have said; great size, perfect for cereal and the lime color is fantastic! Over all a great product

These are beautiful bowls as far as plastic goes. They wash up nicely in the top rack of the dishwasher. They hold more than I thought they would when I first took them out of the box, so that was a nice surprise.
