This product was prescribed for my dear old grey cat by our vet. My dear old grey cat was suffering from gradual kidney dysfunction which, apparently, is how most cats die naturally if nothing else affects them sooner. This product, along with Epakitin powder, extended and improved the quality of his life for a good six months (and would have probably helped him even more if we'd caught the decline earlier). Highly recommend this. **Be sure you buy this product from a source that ships it to you packed in ice packs.** It must be kept refrigerated.

Azodyl for dog in end stage renal failure by Rosemary McHugh (BROOKLYN, NY United States) 3 Stars

We really cannot attest to the effectiveness. We get our dogs kidney values done in 2 weeks, and we have been treating his anemia with Procrit. The tests will show if his kidneys have stabilized He looks and feels great. In addition to the Azodyl, we are giving him other supportive treatments. Hopefully, all combined are accounting for his seemingly miraculous recovery

MIRACLE PRODUCT by Lisa Johnson (Baltimore, MD) 5 Stars

My cat has CRF, and when first diagnosed was so bad off that the vet thought he was going to die. Decided to try azodyl, and his off the chart kidney values decreased DRAMATICALLY. He has now been stable for almost a year, he still takes azodyl regularly and will for the rest of his life. If you're unsure of trying it because it's expensive, don't let that stop you. It's so worth it for the results. This product literally saved my cat's life.

As I said in a review of this product that I submitted a couple of weeks ago, I think this product is fine. It is the delivery of it that is a major issue. It's a probiotic and must be kept cold. The distributor sends ice packs with the product for which you PAY, by the way. This last delivery I had arrived with the ice packs completely melted.(I'd paid for this, remember.) The product is rendered useless if not kept cold. The bioorganisms die. So I paid over $80....for nothing. I will not order from this distributor again. Do I ever hear from anyone about this?

I'm convinced this works by E. Bramlett (Tucson, AZ) 5 Stars

My 12 year old pomeranian has been on Azodyl for 18 months. Her renal failure was diagnosed in the very early stages and she is still doing fine. She has a great appetite and her weight is stable. Before taking Azodyl, she was throwing up quite a bit and that is why I took her in for bloodwork. Her vomiting is very minimal at this point and I have to give credit for her quality of life to Azodyl. However, I am still buying from the vet as I am concerned about improper refrigeration from online sources. I would love to save some money, but this seems like a risk because there is always someone who says their package arrived warm.
