Used this bowl for the first time this morning and I'm impressed!! It took my dog quite a bit longer to finish his dry food this morning. He used to just inhale his food. Now he seems to be taking actual bites. I would have given this item 5 stars, but I have one little complaint. The bowl is very light weight and my dog was pushing it all over the floor when he was eating. (of course, maybe that slows him down too, LOL!)

I have a little 5lb yorkie who inhales her food so fast. She would throw up at least once a week. Since getting the brake-fast bowl she has not thrown up at all. It has slowed her down at least by 1 min. This seller was extremly fast in shipping also.

This product has truly made a difference in my dog's eating habits. She used to eat so fast that she would lose her breath. It was scary. Now, the bowl makes her have to "work" to get her food rather than vaccuum it up and she no longer has the breath issue. I would recommend this to anyone.

This bowl really works. It slowed my chow-hound little doxie right down so she tastes her food and digests it instead of immediately re-presenting it on the floor! Great product, again proving the simplest ideas are sometimes the best.

We ordered this bowl to keep our small, 18 lb, Lhasa Apso from inhaling his food which sometimes makes him get sick. We ordered the smallest bowl of the three in the ads.
The bowl slows down how fast he eats which is exactly what he needs, but it is a little lightweight so he pushes it around the floor to get all the food out of the bottom. It's not a huge problem since we feed him in the kitchen but a bigger dog may end up a long way from where he started! The biggest bowl may be a lot heavier which would help this problem. I am not sure if the specs include the weight of the bowl.
For our dog it solved the problem of how fast he eats his meals so we are very happy with the purchase!
