| Neat heater by Paul R. Herholz Jr. (Northern Virginia) 5 Stars November 21, 2009 I bought this heater for supplemental heat when I use my basement as a darkroom. Obviously nothing that glowed would be suitable. I really like this heater. It provides even heat and the thermostat works correctly. It is also silent. Couldn't ask for more for the price.
| | Heat and comfort for decent price by Hayk (New York, NY) 5 Stars November 15, 2009 I bought this heater few months ago in anticipation of winter colds. Even though i was not able to test if in real winter conditions, i had a chance to use it overnight and during day time. It warms up pretty fast and the smell that everybody is speaking about is not so horrible. It gave little bit of odor and that was it. While using it, the trick is to find your settings. And I would suggest thinking twice before leaving it on at night, as works so effectively that you might wake up in Miami. Also, i didn't use the ComforTemp button, as to switches and turn dialer are enough.
As of the day i haven't had any problems and recommend this product for its qualities and price.
People who used it for a longer time can tell more about durability and long usage problems (i doubt if there are any).

| | No leaks by Wasabi (Fort Worth, TX USA) 5 Stars November 14, 2009 I've owned three of these heaters which I use in three separate rooms of our house. They are solid, safe, compact and give out a nice even temperature.
| | Good value by Chris (NY) 5 Stars November 08, 2009 I bought Delonghi EW7707 oil filled radiator as my gas fired room heater was too noisy due to the fan. The unit was delivered in one day from Amazon with regular delivery.
I am delighted with its quiet operation and fairly high heat output, sufficient to keep warm a medium sized room in New York weather. The unit is easily portable as it is on wheels. It gave a slight smell during first few days of high power use, but the smell is hardly noticeable, and gone after a few days. I found the preset comfort heat button to be too hot a setting for my liking, and use the included thermostat at setting 4 (range 1 to 6). The unit is smart looking and does not look like a piece of hard ware.DeLonghi EW7707CM Oil-filled Radiator with ComforTemp Technology
| | Great Saver by Vivian Rambusek 5 Stars October 31, 2009 Have had a couple of these over the last few years. Other than the fact that you have to push them out of the way when not in use, I find these heaters very efficient. These heaters have saved me quite a tidy sum when used to supplement my propane baseboard heat. I turn my heat to 56 degrees at night and then crank these portable units up to about 65 degrees. They warm an average room in about 1/2 hour. Why heat unused rooms at night! I'm very happy with mine. The only word of caution I would advise is around very small children. These units do heat up and could possibly burn a small child, so do use with supervision.
