Surprised at how effective the vinturi was when used with red wine. Have not used with white wine. Would be a great gift for the wine lover on the family. Comes with a carrying bag

I am still waiting on my replacement aerator, because this one arrived with two hairline cracks in it that allowed wine to dribble out the little aerator holes, making a mess. My MIL has one, and I love hers (because it's not broken, and doesn't have those cracks). If it had arrived in working condition it would have five stars because it does just what it says it does when it isn't broken.

I found out about aerating wine about a month ago at a winery. I was just about to buy one at the winery when a young man told me to wait and buy the Vinturi Wine Aerator. I went home and ordered this from Amazon.com. My husband and I absolutely love it. You can certainly taste the difference when pouring the wine through this device first. I have now gone back and bought one for my sister for Christmas. It's a great conversation piece at a party too!

We're long time wine drinkers and are very skeptical of this type of product. But after trying one that a friend had, we were convinced it was the real thing and bought one for ourselves and 4 more as gifts for our wine drinking friends. It won't make a bad wine taste better, but it does help a good wine (especially one that is young) to quickly open up and make it more flavorful.

We were given our Vinturi Wine Aerator as a gift and had doubts about whether it would actually make a difference. Well, the difference is amazing. A friend of ours who was visiting from Botswana did a "before and after" taste test. He then ordered four (4) of them to take back to Africa for himself and his friends. We've also bought two more as Christmas gifts.
