I am almost finished with this product. I have been making Bucilla stockings for family members for 30 years now. Two things I found with this stocking is that the felt seems thin. Maybe it is just me, but I feel that it is thinner than the last one I made. Of course you have to realize the last one I made was 17 years ago for my last daughter. I did have to buy more red and white floss for this project. It is turning out quite cute though.

I bought this kit to make for my grandaughter that is due any day now. It is so detailed and beautiful. I can't wait to get started. I made Bucilla stockings for my husband and I when we first got married 29 years ago, and then for our daughters that are now 27 and 25. It just wouldn't be Christmas without our new little addition having a stocking of her own. I also bought a kit for her daddy too. Have to get started Christmas is just around the corner!!

So refreshing to have a stocking about the fairy. So many with Santa or reindeer theme. More, more from the Nutcracker Suite and other classics but not over-used characters please! P.S. LOVE the little pastry and candy decors!

I have made many, many stockings and this one was the worst. The face is small and needs to be pre printed so that no embroidery is necessary on it. Very hard to get the mouth right. I will never make another one of these.
I have always been very good at embroidery but this was difficult.
I was so sick of it by the time I got it finished it wasn't even pretty. Hope you have better luck with it than I had.
