I purchased this to carry on the tradition of holiday jello molds. It works as well as my mom's did years ago! I also use it to make ice rings for the punch bowl.

I've always been Jell-O mold challenged so that my molds invariably flopped. In the olden days a holiday or dinner party just wasn't complete without a Jell-O mold, so I used to have friends or family members bring them. I decided I wanted a particular cranberry orange walnut mold for Thanksgiving and wanted to give it a try again, after many years, but couldn't find a mold that fit my needs in local stores. I ordered and used this; and my mold came out perfectly! It may seem like a simple thing to many cooks; but I was thrilled with the ease of use and recommend the product. The shape and size were predictable; the mold let loose from the container perfectly; and the liquid stayed sealed inside it when I first poured it. What more could anyone ask for?
