Most air purifiers use a purification technology such as UV light, ozone or a filter to clean the air of contaminants. UV light and ozone are unhealthy to come in contact with and filters need to be replaced after a certain amount of time. The Airfree P1000 Air Purifier is unique because it does no use any harmful technologies and never requires maintenance. Thermodynamic Sterilizing System (TSS) This exclusive technology safely destroys airborne allergens, mold spores, mildew, dust mite allergens, viruses, bacteria and pet dander using high temperatures (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Anti-Stress Light A dimmer controlled anti-stress light is included. It is ideal for children?s rooms because it can be used as a night light or turned off completely. Silent Operation Natural convection is used to draw air into the P1000 instead of a fan, making operation completely silent. This machine successfully removed the aspergillis mold from my room. I have serious lung disease and am highly allergic to mold- i did a mold test before and after having it in place for 1 week- and it worked wonders- mold was gone! i haven't even explored what other benefits it has, ie smells etc- i'm so happy with this result.

I have one of these in my bedroom. It is extremely efficient and completely silent. It gets a bit hot on top, but it doesn't seem to be a problem. It also has a blue light - you can regulate its intensity or simply turn it off. It is a really good product.
