If I could make it zero stars, I would. I bought the pink and yellow lava lite with the gift certificate from my daughter. Too bad the money was wasted. I have had five replacement lamps, 1 sent by the store, 4 from the manufacturer. All of them, the spring broke. My lamp now sits on my desk with the broken spring and I can't get anyone at Lava Lite to return my calls or emails. I am so disappointed. Do not waste your money.

It does not work - light turns on and that it is - just a bult sitting over water with a red blob in it, but no movement what so ever what to return it but cannot figure out how to get return label from Amazon.com website.

The lava did not melt very well and it was hard to see the white lava through the blue liquid.

Well, I have bought 5 Lava Lamps within a couple of months and returned 4 of them, one of the returns I got a replacement for and all is OK with that one. I had bought two of these black/chrome/clear ones and they both had foggy/murkey water and little bits (lots of them everywhere) of some white flakes just floating around. Do not get these, you will be sending them back like I have, unless you like foggy/murkey water with white flakes floating around inside the glass enclosure.
