Well, it kept getting knocked over but once I got it set up, it never caught a thing in my backyard. So much for the summer with no spray!

I have used this type of lure with their traps along with the much more expensive electric units over two years and with a little patience it collects many mosquitos and is a much more inexpensive way to go.

We make a sugar and yeast mixture as a soup in 50-gallon vats in the back yard. After fermenting for several weeks in the sun, we bottle it in old milk jugs and freeze it. Then, once a month or so, we thaw a jug and put it on the stove for a tasty family snack. Whatever is leftover (which normally ain't much), we put in the moskeeto trap and then we watch them critters fly in and they DON'T fly out! After collecting a few hundred thousand (maybe more), we refreeze that soup with all the skeeters in it and we save it for movie night. Deliverance, usually (we love that movie). You seen it, right?

I bought two traps. One did good for 5 days and after that no more mosquitos inside the trap. The other trap only caught flies for one week. I tried different places in the yard and followed the instructions, but now I still gor all the mosquitos...
