Star Party Club Favorite by StarGazer (Nevada) 5 Stars

On cloudy nights, our astronomy club members bring interesting programs among other antidotes to help while away the time in hope of cloud breaks. Thusly I have seen more than my share of astronomy type programs good and bad. A member brought "the visible universe" in which I had not previously viewed and immediately liked it. What I liked was that it panned and zoomed to all the interesting points of objects that I know to be interesting from my own research and observations. The pictures were clear and the detail was fine, most pictures were Not over zoomed, nor did they pass to quickly. The music was very well done, albeit strange and unique in an upbeat fashion. We watched it twice back to back that evening, the later muted. Since then, I have purchased this program and view it regularly, usually in the background. I would suggest that this program is geared towards virtually any person even remotely interested in astronomical objects in space. It is not in itself educational the way a fully narrated program is, rather an introduction tool to what exists in the seemingly endless space of our night skies. I give it 4.5 stars since the program is not perfect, but Amazon allows for only a rudimentary rating system so I do as most and average up. For our astronomy club, this program, as well as similar programs at the right price are ideal, thus it fills the room with light and color while we wait for clear skies.

Space nut review by J. Hollaender 5 Stars

My daughter is a space nut and loved the amazing collection of space images. The music, which I prefer, is exceptionally good and fits very nicely in the context of this music DVD.
