| Agression....kings of skate punk by HBHCFSU (HB, CA) 5 Stars November 22, 2008 This is their best album. Contains good studio recordings of their anthems such as SATC, Secret Sex and Don't Be Mistaken. I simply cannot reccomend this record or this band enough
| | thrash and bash 5 Stars February 17, 2005 Agression was one of the best bands to come out of Oxnard C.A. and the album Don't Be Mistaken is a surf/skate punk classic. Songs like "Locals Only" and "Intense Energy" are fun to crank out of your car when you are putting your wetsuit on getting ready to paddle out at your local break. If you like classic hardcore/punk bands like Black Flag,Germs,Circle Jerks and fear
get this CD.
| | THE BEST SKATE HARDCORE BAND EVER, by Billy K (Larissa, Greece.) 5 Stars December 03, 2002 This is one of the best hardcore bands of all times. They were from Oxnard and in Oxnard they call hardcore music NARDCORE. This is a classic album.Agression weren't brutal like other hardcore bands of the time (negative approach, minor threat), they had so much power and feeling into their music. This album is so much fun to listen to it, too. I must also mention that Mark Hickey, their singer, had such a unique voice and singing style, he was truly one of the best. Henry Knowles is one of my favorite guitar players. He wrote some great guitar rffs. Listening to Agression, you have a special feeling that you don't have with any other band. This album includes also two excellent songs from the BYO compilation someone got their head kicked in. The cover rules. Go buy this album now and you won't be disappointed.
